Well ok, not quite the same but..

We recently took a 250 mile camping trip and brought along the Mach-E. My wife drove it and followed behind the RV. Having her draft the RV for that long resulted with some pretty impressive efficiencies with the Mach-E. Close to 4 miles/kWh!

When planning the trip down we figured that a DCFC charge was necessary to ensure we could make the distance. Even though the car showed 50% and could have easily made it, we still stopped for a charge enroute:

Its nice to have some place to hang out while you charge.

On the way back, however, we decided to forgo the charging stop and drive all the way home. The Mach-E made it without issues. Even showed 100+ miles remaining on the guess-o-meter. Not bad LOL.

I wouldn’t always expect this kind of efficiency from it, however. Normally on the freeway I get 3.1 or 3.2 miles/kWh with the car–which still would have been able to make the 250 mile trip (my car is EPA rated for 305 miles of range).
